Doom metal before Doom Metal was invented? Charly & The Slaves started out as a punk band, developed into hard rocking postpunk and on this track took a turn for a more gothic and doomy style. Grinding guitars, brilliant vocals and a great track that would be called Doom metal if it was not recorded in 1987. In fact one of the members would form Doom metal legends Left Hand Solution in the early 90-ies. But that is another story. Check out this previously unreleased gem with great gothic sounds!
