Jan Boholm is almost a household name in the northern Sweden as an actor in highly successful Teater Soja. Music has always been an important part of their performances, but what's less known is that Jan for over 30 years, wrote songs, recorded & made cassettes & home burned CDs and stored at home.
At the age of 60, he decided to start doing it properly, started a band and started selecting highlights from his drawers and started writing new songs. At the age of 62, it is finally time for debut at Massproduktion. Rooted in Swedish traditional songs, with rock roots and a lot of musical guests it’s a magnificent debut with the lyrics as focal point. Lyrics deeply rooted in his upbringing in a small northern town.
