Not Lame wrote: The contrasting male/female vocal interplay works so well on all their releases, but Silhouettes is the strongest of the three we have heard. They still mix in a more feminine take on The Buzzcocks and, say, The Hummingbirds and The Primitives. Odd, yes. But it works. The guitars will snarl one minute and then quickly ascend towards beautiful pop melodies. Like The Pixies, who are an influence here, as well as Guided By Voices and The Lilys. It`s a mish-mash, a wonderful mix, of a lot of disparate sounds and inspirations and it...works!! Very Highly Recommended! "
